Embody the Wisdom of Earth and Ancestors

Ancestral Lineage Healing for personal, family, cultural, and ecological regeneration
BOOK A SESSION

Re-membering our ancestral bond to the earth

Many of us long to reconnect with something our ancestors once knew intuitively: that we belong to the Living World, that we are part of Nature.

Over time, Western culture has gradually distanced many of us from the Earth, from our ancestors, and often from our own bodies, emotions, and sense of belonging. Yet beneath the layers of trauma, colonization, and cultural rupture remains a deeply human way of being, one grounded in kinship with the Living World.

The growing interest in nature-based spirituality reflects a deep longing to heal this separation.

Reweaving these ancestral relationships is not about returning to the past or borrowing another culture’s traditions. It is about recovering values of reciprocity, responsibility, and interdependence that are woven throughout our shared human heritage. These values offer essential guidance for responding to today’s ecological and social challenges, restoring our sense of belonging, and learning to inhabit the Earth in a more life-giving way.

Meet Hazel Volk

My name is Hazel. I am an author and a facilitator in ancestral healing and ecopsychology. Living in France, Australia, and now Canada has deeply shaped my understanding of how people are shaped by their ancestors, their histories, and the lands they inhabit.

Today, I bring together transpersonal psychology, ecopsychology, ancestral wisdom, and ecological engagement to support people who wish to cultivate a deeper sense of belonging within the Living World.

Support and facilitation

I work with people who are navigating periods of transition, questioning, or a search for deeper meaning, and who wish to deepen their relationship with the Living World, their ancestors, and themselves. I also support therapists and practitioners who wish to bring a more relational approach to the Living World into their work.

Each journey is shaped by your story, your sensitivity, your pace, and your needs. Depending on what emerges, we may explore your family lineages and ancestral stories within their broader historical and cultural contexts, deepen your relationship with the natural world and the places you inhabit, or draw on somatic practices, mindfulness, embodied awareness, and nervous system regulation.

Connection with the Natural World and our ancestors becomes a source of grounding, resilience, and transformation.

“We live in a culture that rejects its young people and forgets its old people, There is no initiations and rites of passage anymore. There is no bridge between generations. If we are the link between our children and ancestors, we have a mission, we have a purpose.” ~ Ellen Kushner

A book to guide you

The Wisdom of the Ancestors is a collection of reflections, stories, and practical invitations to support and deepen your reconnection with the living world. Drawing from my experiences in France and the Australian desert, it is also a co-creation with my ancestors. Rooted in ecopsychology, this guide weaves together transpersonal psychology and ancestral wisdom, offering readers both inspiration and tools for meaningful practice.
